Brindavan Gardens
Tip: It will cost you INR 500 to take a cab here. Hire a car instead. Tip: Catch the musical fountain show on weekend evenings from 1900 – 2100. Warning: If you take the bus to the palace, it will drop you more than 2 km from the garden. You’ll have to take a autorickshaw for the remaining distance. Warning: Photography is not permitted.
Mysore Zoo
Closed on Tuesdays Tip: Book an electric car for INR 100 and you’ll be able to cover the zoo in an hour. Tip: Go in the early morning to avoid the heat, the crowd and the animal nap time. Warning: You’ll have to deposit some stuff before visiting the animals. They’ll give you a bottle of water as deposit and youll have to return it.

Some rides may have a height restriction. Taking an all-inclusive pass might make sense. It isn’t possible to wander about in the temple since it is almost always full of visitors so keep your visits short and sweet. The volunteers at the temple will ask you to keep moving and not stall if there is a huge crowd. It is advised that you listen to them to avoid any confusion

Rashtrapati Bhavan
Closed from Monday until Thursday & on Gazetted holidays. Special permission needs to be taken from the Government of India Tourist Office in order to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan. Entry is through Gate No.2 (Rajpath) and Gate No.37. The most appropraite time to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan is during February to march, so that you can also get a chance to see the colourful medley of flowers at the Mughal Gardens.
Red Fort
Closed on mondays. It was declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. Ticket price : Rs.10 for Indians and Rs.250 for foreigners. The timings for the light and sound show is 6pm onwards. Ticket price for the Light Show : INR 60 on weekdays and INR 80 on weekends.
Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary
Other Hours: During winter season (1st October to 31st March), park closes at 1630 hours. Entry before 0900 hours will require special permission to be taken a day in advance. Park is closed on Tuesdays. Not more than 10 persons will be allowed before 0900 hours. Other Ticket prices: Children (2-12 years) - Rs.2 per person. Foreign nationals- Rs.40 per person. Camera fees: Still camera- Rs. 25, Video camera- Rs.500 and Professional camera- Rs. 5000. Parking fees: Two-wheelers- Rs.5 and Four-wheelers- Rs.10. Tips & Warnings: There are four watch towers and mounds for visitors to get a better view of the birds. There is also an information center dedicated to the famous ornithologist, Dr. Salim Ali where you can get more information on the birds and also a display of Dr. Salim Ali’s write-ups and photographs. The vegetation here is very dry in spite of the beautiful water body. The vegetation includes Savannah Grasslands, and trees like Jamun, Khair, Tendu, Ber, Banyan and Dhok. The climate here is typical North Indian type where summers are harsh and hot and winters can get extremely cold. There is also a guest house within the place known as Rosy Pelican. Rented binoculars are available. The place has toilet and drinking water facilities also. Tips & Warnings: You should concentrate more on the shallow waters of the lake as this is where you can find more birds. Visit the park early in the morning for the best experience. The place is 40 kms from Dhaula Khan in Delhi and at 15 kms from Farukhnagar Road in Haryana. Bring your own binoculars, as the rented ones are limited in number. Visitors are not allowed to boat or swim in the lake. Carry your own cameras.

Tips & Warnings: The place has locker room facilities. Penguin buddies aids for skating are available which do not slip on ice. There are in-house photographers who give you instant framed printouts of your snaps. There is pre-lit furniture, which is an exclusive feature of this place. The climate inside is cool, but not very cold. Changing rooms are available here. There is also a giant video hall. The VIP access includes personalized service and express entry. Choose a session appropriate to your ability. Stockings are compulsory. Do not skate if you are pregnant. Young children and babies are NOT allowed on the ice. Do not skate after consuming alcohol. Use of mobile phones is prohibited. Do not eat food or throw it on the ground. Do not carry bags on the ice. Do not keep sharp objects in your pockets. Make sure your skates are worn properly. Do take necessary actions if you are not comfortable with laser lights. Enter and leave via proper gates only. Always skate in anti-clockwise direction. Do not skate too fast. Jama Masjid
The southern entry of the mosque has a flight of steps, and the eastern passage of the mosque was the original country passageway and it has 774 steps. So the masjid may not be accessible to everyone. The Masjid cannot be entered by tourists during prayer hours. Ticket Price : Free but photography is charged INR 200.
Qutub Minar
Evening is the best time , enhancing the experience. Ticket price : 10 per person for Indians and 250 per person for foreign tourists. There are no charges for cameras at the Qutub Minar.
